Description

The European Security & Defence Union magazine spotlights the EU CBRN Centres of Excellence (CoE) initiative in its vol. 48, dedicated to geopolitics in a world in turmoil. The publication offers an insightful conference report of the EU CBRN CoE 9th National Focal Points International Meeting, the annual high-level event gathering the CoE network and partners to strengthening international knowledge-sharing and collaboration on CBRN risk mitigation.

The independent magazine for European security and defence policy highlights the “exciting news shape” of event’s 2023 edition, presenting a conference programme filled with “highly interesting” thematic sessions and networking opportunities in the field of CBRN risk mitigation. According to the magazine, this year’s edition showed a clear shift to closer inter-regional cooperation across the eight regions participating in the EU CBRN CoE initiative.

“The 2023 National Focal Points meeting made clear that the 64 partner countries (…) are ready to put in the energy necessary to push regional and inter-regional cooperation ahead in CBRN risk mitigation – to make the world safer.”
