Context
The task of timely and effectively respond to a CBRN incident, whether it is due to a natural disaster or an accident, is an extremely difficult one, since it involves a considerable effort of coordination and communication between several institution at the national level. Furthermore, since CBRN accidents have no borders and may impact neighbouring countries, it is crucial that a framework for regional cooperation and sharing of information between countries in the region is established.
Objective
This project will complement the action entitled "Strengthening CBRN first response capabilities and regional cooperation in South East Europe, Southern Caucasus, Moldova and Ukraine' (Project 44).The overall objective of the project is to provide the necessary equipment to countries in the Western Balkan and Black Sea regions in order to enhance CBRN first response capacity in the South East and Eastern Europe (SEEE) region.
