Context
Following the assessment of the needs of and based on discussions with the countries, this project is aimed at providing technical support to strengthening CBRN national legal frameworks.
Objectives
- Strengthen and enhance national legal systems through the provision of legal support– in particular in the fields of border, export, and transit/trans-shipping controls, the protection of CBRN material/facilities, denying support for CBRN terrorism/misuse, investigation/prosecution, and the management of CBRN waste.
- Contribute to the compliance with international obligations and the fostering of international consistency in the formulation and application of national law related to CBRN concerns.
