Description
This anniversary booklet celebrates 15 years of the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence Initiative, the world’s largest platform for voluntary cooperation on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risk mitigation. It traces the Initiative’s evolution from a strategic vision in 2010 to a global model of partnership, bringing together 63 Partner Countries across eight regions.
Through a combination of success stories, data, quotes and best practices, the publication showcases how more than 100 EU-supported projects have strengthened national legislation, enhanced emergency preparedness, improved biosafety and biosecurity, supported cross-border coordination, and advanced long-term resilience.
The booklet also looks ahead, outlining how continued cooperation will be essential to meet emerging CBRN challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.
